Family, to me, has always been those you love and care for who also love and care for you. One of the ways I show love is through making and finding unique gifts. And I am so happy to have found a community that allows me to express my love to my family through such gifts! I am currently learning how to tie dye, and will soon be trying modern batiking for the first time. I love seeing great examples of textile art here at Novica, textile art seems like a great way to turn a "practical" gift into something beautiful and personal. I love reading the artisans' stories. I am so inspired by the luscious amount of creativity and skill shown here at Novica!
