This is long overdue! I was hoping to buy at least 3 more sculptures by Suresh but, not surprisingly, they have all been bought. Suresh, sorry I took so long to convey my thanks for the two remarkable sculptures I received late last year. You have a unique gift; watching your sculptures is like witnessing a battle between the artist and his material, both are wrestling against each other to maintain their identity but the artist as ever gracious only allows his biography to intrude on to the natural beauty of his materials with intelligence, humility, and a deftness of touch. At other times it is as if you have awakened some mythological spirit or demon from these apparent drift-woods that would only respond to you. These are no ornaments but works of art of museum quality,beautiful, challenging, uncompromising. Michaelangelo worked with marble, Rodin with bronze; you, Suresh, have the forests, their trees, their spirits and demons which, through your skill and talent, speak to us also. ANTHONY
