I am an elementary school teacher who fell in love with the alpaca, and decided to leave teaching to raise alpacas full time. I now have 42 animals that I tend to, most are my own, but some are boarded. I sell breeding stock, and love to take my alpacas to shows and have won many awards with them. My next endeavor is to open a store that specializes in unique alpaca products, and I am looking forward to a wonderful response from the people in my city, many of whom have never even heard of an alpaca! I have two daughters, both in college, and my oldest is studying to become a veterinarian. My youngest is exploring photography as well as finding an interest in dance and communications.
