I am originally from Newcastle upon Tyne and moved down to London over twenty years ago to start work at the BBC. I worked on programmes such as Blue Peter, Bergerac and Sports. I then worked in the video industry before starting a family. I have 3 children. My eldest, Charlie is away at Southampton University and is nearly 20 years old! My daughter, Lorna is studying her "A" Levels at school and hopes to work in stage/tv makeup (she is almost 17 years old!) My youngest child is called Alfie and he is 10 years and loves "Lego", Star Wars, Doctor Who and his new Nintendo Wii! I, also, have a tortoiseshell cat called Ruby (who is extremely fat and greedy!!!) I wanted to write to thank you for my beautiful "Mermaid" ring!!!! I absolutely love it to bits!!! I was so thrilled to receive it on Monday morning and it cheered me up no end as I had been feeling rather worried due to the fact that my ex-husband had just lost his job.
