I am a graduate student at Clemson University studying Cell and Developmental Biology. I study lipid metabolism of Trypanosoma brucei-- the agent of African Sleeping Sickness. I am interested in music, science, and the world around me. I attend many concerts and love to discover new sounds and inspirations. I have always been fascinated by science; it is my constant curiosity that drove me to biology. My biggest passion lies in traveling the world and discovering new cultures and meeting interesting people. I have traveled all over Europe and the Caribbean. However, I would love to expand my travels to Asia, Africa and South America. All in all, I am a peaceful and simple person who loves life and appreciates the simple things like a good pair of earrings :)
