I am a retired teacher who has been fortunate to have many rich experiences during my life, all of which have contributed to who I am. The enjoyment of my five senses is my passion. Sight places before me images of the natural world and human endeavors. Smell provides the aromatic context of a place and all it holds. Hearing is the conductor of the music of the world, be it from a charango and quena, a waterfall, or the laughter of children. Touch reveals the subtleties of a fine textile, the suppleness of elkskin, or the softness of an alpaca's coat and the roughness of its tongue.' Taste is the ultimate of our senses as it allows us to take into ours bodies the nuances of herbs, the piquancy of spices, the saltiness of the earth and the ethereal sweetness of honey. To indulge my passion it is easy to see why I am fascinated with food and cuisines, love to cook, love music of all genres and why I enjoy travel to experience new places and old, and then to luxuriate in memories.
