I live in a loft in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. I really try to have a safe haven where serenity and calm can be found. My job reminds me that we only really have today. To appreciate and be present for the moment whatever the moment is. Life can end at any time. I love to bead, and I am inspired by all of the beaded pieces that I see on this site. I enjoy being alone....maybe because I spend all of my working life around people. I bead these things that I call hanging amulets. I bead a long wire, 3-4 feet with many lovely glass, crystal, seed beads, vintage crystals etc. Then I attach at the end a lovely crystal, usually around 2 inches, on the end. These can be hung in windows in corners, in doorways etc. The crystals are usually from antique stores or I pick them up in my travels here and there. They make very nice gifts, Some persons have said I should get a website, yet, that might take the joy out of it for me....I just love making them.
