I am a retired electrical engineer who used to work mainly in industry involved in the design, installation, maintenance and repair of electrically operated machinery from carpet knitters to large waste baling equipment. I have been married three times - my present wife is called Kathy. She is an exceptional lady who looks after me well. I have eight daughters and four sons to my two previous marriages - all now grown up of course! My main hobby is playing music. I play solo trombone in a brass band and have been involved in brass bands since the age of five (I am now 67). I also arrange and write music (when the time and the muse allow!
