I have worked in poverty alleviation programs my entire adult live. Originally to assist poor mothers and children in the US. For the past 10 years I have worked in programs that use fair trade and living wages to assist women across the globe in earning enough through their beautiful crafts to lift themselves out of poverty. I have one adult daughter, Christine. We are very close. We have a totally white kitten named Gracie who helps us out by breaking all the glassware in the house.
