I retired after 22 years as a hospital administrator and began studying gems and gemstones and their healing properties. I attended the Gemological Institute of America to obtain a formal training. I hand make jewelry for people in need of the specific healing properties of the stones. I truly believe in the power of gemstones as it has helped me recover from a devastating brain injury that ended my healthcare career (hence, my "retirement")and opened a new world of nature's beauty. I am the single mother of two boys ages 22 and 24 and have an adorable Bichon/Pomeranian mix and two Maine Coons.
