I just received the astonishingly beautiful carving, "Rooster At Dawn," by Pande Made Anom, and I was awed by its exacting detail, striking finish and lifelike sense of body movement. It seems on the brink of its first exultant crow of the day! It seems obvious to me that the artist has both remarkable talent and great pride in his craft, and this is one of my favorites among the several dozen carvings in my Bali collection. Thanks so much, and I eagerly await more creations of his in the future.
