After working in PR and tourism for over a decade, I'm now at home with my baby son and enjoying it very much. Prague is a truly beautiful city to live in but I do miss New York where I spent 10 very happy years (and first discovered Novica). I have always loved handmade things and crafts and besides Novica, I love browsing and shopping at Etsy - and adding little handmade details to our home (a lovely if dilapidated house from 1911. I love listening to music (classical and non-), reading Proust, baking, and taking long walks.

The Bird Protector mask I have received today is fantastic. It just exudes mystery and dignity. I love the noble expression of the face and the two three-dimensional birds on top of the head; and of course, it's a great name, too. In fact, I am so enchanted with the mask I have already ordered another one - Spirit Power. The detailing of the mask is fine, the dark polished finish is very elegant. A wonderful piece of art. Thank you!
