I work in the fashion industry as a fit model, which is like being a live mannequin. I am passinate about hand made items and try to purchase as many interesting and unique things as I can rather than mass produced items. I love there is a site for people who love to buy artisan items from the artisans who love making them. I love to travel and this helps fill that void of discovering new places and people, when I can't be traveling.

I received a hand-carved jewelry box made of soapstone that was so spectacular I was speechless when I opened the box. I always try to support artists and buy as many handcrafted things as I can, but I don't think I've ever bought anything handcrafted that looked this amazing. It is truly a work of art. I couldn't wait to proudly display it. Gulam Rasool has got such an amazing skill and I'm so happy he has a way to share his gifts with people so far from where he lives.
