I'm always on the lookout for things that bring me joy...interesting people, lovely art objects, beautiful views, delicious food. I love to travel, but am more intrigued with learning about the way of life in a particular city or region than interested in visiting the sights. I believe that you create your own happiness. I live in one of the most fascinating, versatile, and diverse cities in the world. Since living space is at a premium in the City, one has to be judicious about the things that one buys. Anything that can be used for a variety of purposes ends up being most treasured. I find that the Novica artists often share this philosophy. That's not to say, however, that I don't enjoy and own objects that have no other purpose than being lovely to look at.
