My family is from Italy. They came to the New York City in the 1920's, so I am second generation american. My family still retains all the cultural aspects of Italy. So, being a woman in business is very different from what was expected of me. However, my father always supported my personal goals . He was a New York City Police Officer, and received many medals, but most important was the medal he received for saving many lives during the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Much of my drive and passion comes from my father. Our extended family is very close, even though we live in many places. My goal on retirement is to study ancient history in another country. I love to draw, and love design as well. I have 2 nephews, Jason and Rod. Rod has traveled with me to many of the countires on Novica. I am very close to my sister, Patricia. My best friend is Janet and I have known her since we were both 4 years old. I also remain very close to my extended family.
