My name is Lisa Beth Guntz. I'm a single, 52 year old female living and teaching in a small agricultural community in South Monterey County. My students are second language learners from Mexico and more and more are moving here from Oaxaca. I've traveled some and am fascinated with the world around me. It is important for me to live in a place where I can surround myself with lovely world art. If I'm not traveling, at least I can be inspired by others and their personal vision. When I was younger I was interested in becoming a photojournalist and documenting the world. I turned to teaching but never lost my fascination for others and how they thrive in our ever changing world. Novica allows me an opportunity to connect with that place that was once a dream.
