I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, surrounded by farms, lakes and woodlands. I now enjoy living in a large city but still enjoy hikes with my dog and observing nature, especially birds and animals. I'm also an avid gardener and photographer. I've learned about other cultures and their artwork during travels within the US as well as to Peru, Guatemala, Belize and Costa Rica.
