I am a metalsmith, an art teacher, a swim coach, parent and a generally crazy person. My front door has polka dots, and I own 45 pets and chase after 3 kids. I sleep when I can and generally keep myself way too busy. I like creating brightly colored and cheerful art; I like bugs, slugs, snails and cats. These creatures frequent my art and appear in designs. I very much enjoy teaching others how to make art of various sorts; I get much vicarious pleasure out of watching others learn and apply ideas. I am an artistic omnivore, and have tried many different techniques and like to work in many different media. My nusband and kids put up with my quirks and occasionally do projects with me. My husband does cancer research, and applies the same creative spirit in the pursuit of new technologies and ideas. Our house is never dull; There's laways something going on here.
