I am 54 years old and about to retire from my Primary School teaching job in Sydney, Australia. I am excited about this as it means that I will be able to more freely pursue my dreams of helping as much as I can in the needy locations of the world. I have, in the past, worked in West Africa and in Indonesia and I am currently spending as much time as I can spare in India. When there, I teach in Andra Pradesh and I am also helping to establish an orphanage and drug rehabilitation facility in Manipur. I am divorced and have two grown up, married daughters (but no grandchildren...yet!) I enjoy living in hot places, rather than cold as I like to swim as often as I can.
