I have degrees in Art History and Interior Design. Thus, colors, design, textiles, patterns, and the history, or artist of a piece means a great deal to me. That is the main reason I am drawn to the Novica website. When I travel I always look for handmade items from the locals. Now I can find things without even traveling. I just returned from India and am thrilled that my new exquisite shawl is from a man in Kashmir.
