I live on an island off the coast of Canada and the US mainland. I do a lot of online shopping because we have to take a ferry to get to the mainland, which is an hour and a half away. I have a son who spends lots of time in Lake Chapala, Mexico, so I have lots of interest in Mexican art. I love to knit and have made knitted, felted hats and sold them locally. We live a quiet, isolated life here, so there is plenty of time for creativity and contemplation of nature. In the summer Killer Whales swim past our island. One evening I stood on the shore as two whale pods (groups) came together, echolocating to one another. It was one of the most awesome experiences of my life. I am privileged to live in this place.
