I am a former college professor who lives in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota with my husband (also a retired professor), two cats, and an English setter. We enjoy living in a place that is famous for its wildlife and the native cultures of the Lakota and Dakota Sioux. I love animals, traveling, reading history, and learning about the world around me.
