I was blessed to have parents who loved books. As a little girl growing up on a farm in Texas I yearned to see with my own eyes the places I read about. In the sixties, my husband and I cast aside all conventional plans and relocated to Alaska. We were blessed with 3 delightful children, now grown. We are all travelers and volunteers. We love God's Creation and want to see as much of it as we can in the time we are given. I see myself as an unofficial ambassador for my country when I travel, so I always try to leave a good impression. I appreciate creative people and admire those who can make a living with their creativity. I am a retired educational support employee, a forever student of the Bible, grandparent to four, soon to be five, bright grandchildren, and a lover of life.
