I am a mother and grandmother who earns my living as a journalist and the editor of a magazine. Discovering and telling the stories of other people to introduce them to a much wider community is what I do. Curiosity is the most essential characteristic for my work, along with an open and welcoming mind. I, too, am a kind of artisan, but the lives, words and actions of other people are the materials I use to tell my stories.
