I am fascinated with many cultures and the artisans who are moved to create from their histories, religions, families-- a sense of staying / being connected to a group of people larger than your self and connecting to one's roots. I am decorating a new home and am deliriously excited to have found one site with so many wonderful, well made items. I also appreciate seeing who made the work and their bios.
