When I'm not teaching freshman English or grading papers, I enjoy making jewelry, and I especially like making glass beads when I have a chance to get to a studio. I tend to dabble though because I like to learn new things. My newest hobby is painting brass lamps to give them new life and making the lampshades to go with them.
