My father was a consummate craftsman, making jewelry, furniture, electronic stuff -- his interest in "hi fi" sound led him to create a marvelous sound system that was featured in a number of audio- magazines. I inherited a terrific sense of design, which has been reflected in weavings, photos, and my love of beautiful, people-friendly architecture.Recently, I've begun to do watercolor painting, abstracts. I've been a social worker, actress, editor and writer and, primarily, a proponent of civility and decency between people and educating people about how animals are not inferior creatures, but, in fact, usually wiser than humans -- and for goodness sake, that the environment we have so threatened is and has never been ours to plunder.
